Un jeu de ville québécois. Une petite ville de 4 200 habitants, du charbon jusqu’à l’orbite, où chaque décision a ses voisins.A Quebec city-building game. A small town of 4,200 people, from coal to orbit, where every decision has neighbours.

Salaires, tarifs d’électricité, eau et budget municipal viennent de données publiques réelles, ramenées à l’échelle de la ville. Chaque Tier pose une question : qui reçoit l’électricité ? qui reçoit l’eau ?Wages, electricity rates, water and the municipal budget come from real public data, scaled to the town. Each Tier asks a question: who gets the power? who gets the water?

En 2011, une opération à la hanche liée à la spondylarthrite ankylosante m’a contraint à arrêter de travailler. Les années suivantes, jusqu’en 2020, ont été consacrées à la remise en forme, à la physiothérapie et à l’entraînement.In 2011, hip surgery related to ankylosing spondylitis forced me to stop working. The following years, through 2020, were devoted to recovery, physiotherapy and exercise.

Entre 2020 et 2024, une autre question s’est imposée : comment retrouver mon autonomie professionnelle ? Il me fallait trouver — ou créer — un travail adapté à mes capacités. Je ne souhaitais pas retourner dans le domaine de l’architecture de bâtiments. J’ai donc choisi de mobiliser mes connaissances en informatique et en systèmes complexes pour explorer la recherche et le développement en sécurité de l’intelligence artificielle.Between 2020 and 2024, another question took shape: how could I regain my professional independence? I needed to find — or create — work suited to my abilities. I did not want to return to building architecture. Instead, I chose to use my knowledge of computing and complex systems to explore research and development in AI safety.

Ce parcours a mené à une première publication dans Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence et à un premier outil de mesure de cohérence multi-échelle. Les résultats, limités, m’ont poussé à chercher plus loin. Comment dépasser la seule mesure de cohérence pour mieux examiner les hallucinations et la dérive des systèmes d’IA ? C’est dans cette démarche qu’est né Reality Floor, aujourd’hui en cours de validation.That journey led to a first publication in Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and a first multiscale coherence measurement tool. The limited results pushed me to look further. How could I go beyond coherence measurement alone to better examine AI hallucinations and drift? Reality Floor grew out of that question and is now undergoing validation.

Coherix arrive maintenant à un tournant. Pour faire avancer ces projets, j’ai besoin d’agrandir l’équipe. Mais je ne dispose pas encore des revenus nécessaires pour rémunérer des collaborateurs à la hauteur de leur contribution.Coherix is now at a turning point. Moving these projects forward requires a larger team. But I do not yet have the revenue needed to pay collaborators in a way that reflects their contribution.

Puis, un soir, une idée simple est apparue : rendre le visionnement plus confortable en automatisant le clic sur le bouton permettant d’ignorer une publicité. Je n’ai pas trouvé de solution correspondant exactement à ce que je cherchais. Alors, je l’ai créée : Coherix Sofa.Then, one evening, a simple idea came to me: make watching more comfortable by automating the click on the button that skips an ad. I did not find a solution that matched exactly what I was looking for. So I created one: Coherix Sofa.

J’espère que cette petite application deviendra un premier moteur de revenus pour Coherix et contribuera à financer la suite : Reality Floor, le simulateur et NIMBY.I hope this small application will become an initial source of revenue for Coherix and help fund what comes next: Reality Floor, the simulator and NIMBY.
